                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 5462
                   HIXSON PIKE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   HIXSON PIKE SOUTHWEST OF LONGVIEW DRIVE FROM
                   R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-5 NEIGHBORHOOD
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 5462 Hixson Pike, being
                on the southeast line of Hixson Pike southwest of
                Longview Drive.  Lot 28, Long Hixson Subdivision,
                as shown by plat of record in plat book 14, page
                150, ROHC; being the property described in deed
                book 1956, page 249, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 100O-D-8.
               
               
         from R-2 Residential Zone to C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
